I installed a Z-Edge S3.

I like it. Installed on LC about 2 years ago. No issues. I've even dropped it a couple of times and still works (the screen did crack). I now have purchased 2 more for my other vehicles.

What I liked about it was easy install, HD camera front and rear and price. They have a S4 model but didn't see the need to spend more $ as this model had what I needed.

I have one of the Garmin units. Happy with it so far. Most often I use it for travelapse, but occasional for video ()

Voice control, g-shock recording, pretty good picture and video quality for a dash cam. Have it hard wired to 12V, so don't really have to worry about it. You can use the app to view clips/stills from your phone as well. I'd buy it (or the next gen) again.

Your videos demonstrates why I want to get one installed

I have used a black vue dr650gw for years in my old car. I have it in my wife's now, but I plan to get a dr900s for my car or ill give it to her and take back the 650. The 900 does 4k, but the 650 only does 1080. I caught a local dealership flogging my old ISF and I always assumed they did so that's mostly why I got it. The app to setup the camera and view videos is terrible though. Other than that I love it and it's going strong in 110+ degree weather.

I use a Thinkware F770 just under the mirror below the window tint. Ran the power wire up into the ceiling carpet to driver door, into a-pillar, down to fuse box for power to record while parked. Easy peasy.

whatever you get, get something very small that doesn't bring unwanted interest from outside (avoid broken windows someone trying to steal it. My V1 and camera are installed so nicely at the top that you will never know that I have both.

I have the 2-channel (front & rear) Thinkware F800 Pro with CellLink Neo backup battery. Both are very nice. Both cameras and battery are accessible from phone apps. Also, a cloud option to have recordings uploaded (requires hotspot).
