So am I to understand by the thumbs up from @charliemeyer007 and @rainingagain that those part numbers will in fact work on my pigs axels and tranny/transfer case?

You have to speak slowly and use small words so I can follow 😂
My thumbs up was because I had the same question, will these work for my early 40? haha. I guess it's a bit like the facebook laugh emoji button (am I laughing along or at you?).

The last thing I did on my rig was drain the front diff and the plug is a bit rounded. My parts book shows 90341-18014 but @GA Architect shows a chub pack of ten. I need to look up the thread details.

I thumbs up nearly everything so I can see I read that post and don't need to read it again. If I really like the post it gets one of the other icons. Reading or writing here is very informative and or entertaining for me. I don't watch TV, ever. A lot of the youtube people I use to watch are now hawking "crap" left and right in their vids and that doesn't count all the stuff youtube slips in. If I'm watching a welding video and the guy says he likes this brand of welder/wire... I accept that but when they want to sell me some feminine hygiene products well not so much.

Reminds me of Taxes or Tariffs - there is no difference - the little people pay it all.

Often the sockets have a rounded inside corner. Cut the socket end off square with a pipe-fitters saw (it's like an Arm-Saw for steel) and you can get a much better grip on the shallow plug head. Then you won't need to chisel it. Oh and give it a bit of pre-heat.
