Looking for one of the top mount 2F rear engine lift hooks. The one that lives on top of the head not on the side with the manifold.
I am at 30161.

PM me.

On my 2F, the rear hook is on the manifold side of the engine held down with 2 head bolts. Front hook mounts to the side of the block on the passenger side. When removing my 2f, the rear hook bent on me. I cut the top off and drilled a hole in it to use a clevis type hook. The original is really a bad design.

But you CAN bend it back if you want to.:) There was one hook [I was telling D'Animal about this last month] that was braced from the factory to help stop this problem. I couldn't find it when I was telling him about it, but it had more of a 'V' shape to it than the others. I think it came out of an 86 or 87.

Dave, BTW, I have your sticker. Call me and remind me to send it to you.;)

engine hook

Here are two pics of the 2F engine mount, opposite the engine manifolds. The hook is bolted in three places. If you need this hook send me a PM.

That is what I am looking for.

No I have a couple of those. Looking for the rear hook that bolts to the head on the driver's side.

We talked about it in person. A few minuteds before I bought one from you.

It made the install of the 2F on my 60 so much easier.

Mark has more of the good ones. Just PM him.
