Rear lift gate strut cylinder (1 Viewer)

Hey Team,

Does anyone know where I can get the rear lift gate strut. My rear lift gate just isnt staying up now as it drops unexpectedly which obviously is annoying as you get thumped on the head.

Any good alternative to the OEM one?
Part Number 6895069057 which is a little bit expensive.

I just put a set of these on from Trail Tailor and I think they're strong enough to hang a small child up there.

I got a pair from Liftsupportsdepot.com a couple of years ago. They have been a good replacement.

Okay before I change mine. I was using them today and it was a warm. The lift gate worked as usual. I have noticed that its in cold weather the lift gate shocks don't work. is that an expected thing?
