Rear hatch replacement - difference across years? (1 Viewer)

Hopefully I didn't miss something glaring but I've searched extensively and can't figure this out...

Anyone have knowledge on differences with upper hatch across Land Cruiser model years?

I have a 2005 and may end up replacing rear hatch - have a line on a good one from a 99 but it's a different part number. Even the 2005 had 2 different part numbers depending on whether the LC had navigation?

Wondering if the differences are just an extra/missing hole, wing mount or similar that won't affect fit or can be modified - or will certain years just not work on other years?

Maybe @2001LC or others with a lot of restoration experience?

IIRC. They all (all years) bolt up fine.

We put a pre 03 on an 03, which is only one I've done/look or at. Even LX / LC swaps, "should" bolt in the same.

But there is differences, that can be dealt/mod with:

1. Spoiler type and no spoiler.
2. Wiring and where enters (use yours).
3. Chrome & badges. which vary by year and model.

This is great thank you. I plan to repaint and replace badges anyway so hopefully will work.

& the washer squirter moved from left on the early ones to right side on the later. Around 2002/2003. No big deal.
