Do not attempt to "pop" the rear seal in this manner. The rear axle adjusting nut will slam into the outer bearing race and ruin it. I just did mine yesterday, I set the nut in there and it will not clear the race.

IMHO, re-using axle seals is like taking a shower and putting your dirty shorts back on...........just my opinion.

Hub seals, not axle seals. They last a long time.

>> wheel bearings, 90363-45087-77 x2

Are you sure about this p/n ?

Also, what does the "book" show for 90080-36067 ?

Thanks, R -

It's actually 90368-45087-77 and 90368-49084-77 (must have been asleep, I'll correct the earlier post).

These are Koyo bearings.

90080-36067 and 90080-36064 are Timken bearings.

You could use those if you wish. I prefer Koyo bearings.

Check.

And I deduce that the references to "NSK" I've seen are Koyo. Now I've got it all straight. Naturally, Koyos are half again as pricey as Timkens. So what's new?

Thanks!

IIRC NSK is a different supplier all togther. I have some bearings that are NSK (not the ones we have been talking about) I just looked at the wheel bearings I have here and they are Koyos and Timkens
I would imagine that NSK makes one too. I haven't encountered any.
