I just got a 1996 LC with factory lockers and had to work on the rear brakes due to the parking brake being totally frozen. Since the LC is new to me I decided to do some pm items while in there. I replaced all brake parts and put in new bearings and seal. When I tried to put it back together I can get the axle back in. I have both axles out. I have tried to find the answer on how to fix this but can't find much but have since realized I needed to engage the lockers before doing this. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to open up the locker viewport and manually engage the locker.

Take off the armor plate, remove the position sensor, take off the plate there, unscrew the bolt that holds the actuator arm to the locker mechanism, slide the mechanism manually.

Youll need to spin a wheel to get it in the right position.
