Rear axle help!

Hi all

Looking for some guidance. I have a 1193 1fz 80 and I just did a rear wheel bearing Install

Right now there is no brake or rotor on the hub

Put everything in and seemed all good! But is it normal for the hub to spin when there is no
Axle, but I put the axle in and it’s seated but it doesn’t want to spin.

I took it apart and put everything back in, made sure that everything is seated. Same issue.

Any ideas?

The rotating hub should rotate on the spindle without the axle installed. The axle is what drives the rotating hub.

but I put the axle in and it’s seated but it doesn’t want to spin.

If the axle is installed, the rotating hub is now secured to the axle.
