I believe they ARE top and bottom specific... the top hinges have a deeper gap away from the body than the lower hinges...

Are these backwards?

Look from the side of the rig... the body mount portion of the hinge on the top should have almost twice as much space as the hinge on the bottom... it's pretty obvious. I looked at the photos you previously posted....from the top rail, and I think they looked good... but check 'em

Your image 2427 shows the passenger door in the correct order. Based on the angle of the upper hinge body mount, there would be a difference between left and right sides, but I think the error would be too obvious to miss as the mounting angle would be all wrong. You may want to go back to Charliemeyer007's post and make sure they aren't bent.

in your post #22, the Top hinge looks to be skewed a bit clockwise. The door relief at the top also seems substantially wider than the bottom... probably something worth looking at ... I'm NOT a body guy, but I do build furniture, and hinges on doors always take a bit of extra finesse.

So now…. If you loosen ALL the hinge screws on the doors and the body, can you get the doors to close and fit square?

Do you still have the old weatherstrip material? Can you compare its profile to the new ones? I’ve had that fitment issue with my 40 doors and with another vehicle. Both times the doors were hard to close because of the new material.

No I don't still have it. Removed it years ago.

Yes - loosened everything in the back - hinges, tub, header brackets above the doors.

I'm thinking that when I welded the new sill in place I lost 1/4" of width by mistake - even though it was braced in place.

I may need to remove the hinges and wallow out the holes a bit on each side to give room to align things.

if you lost width on the sill, will your doors still fit the opening? Wallowing out the hinge holes may not be enough. I just measured my door opening at the bottom near the sill. Specifically the inner edge of the tub... it reads 41 3/4" (106 cm)

Good luck...I'm sure you'll get it to work 👍

Measured at 1053mm, so yes, I lost 7mm or 3/8". I can make up a bit of that by adjusting the hinge holes, and can possibly turn the metal bars around that the hinges are screwed into in the body at the bottom. I had to re-tap new metal bars for the hinge screws and I notice that I may can flip the one on the right and gain an 1/8th or 1/4". And I guess since I drilled the holes in the quarter panel, I could enlarge those a bit to scoot the bottom hinges on both sides a bit away from center. I don't need much room to get the right door to close. Maybe 1/4". It will close now when I close them both at the same time, but that is not how it should need to be done.

Oh well not bad for a first time 8 piece replacement (both rockers, both quarters, driver and passenger floor pan, rebuilt the tranny hump from a donor, and replaced the rear sill completely). Now if the front doors fit.... I can see the tranny hump screw holes are going to be a pain to line up.

The hinge(s) is/are bent on the passenger door. Take them off and straighten them. Then put on the door and adjust. Floor jack lifting the door isn't a good solution, you bend things
I don't think they are bent. I think it is just my placement of the hinge holes when I replaced the rear quarters. I was off a few 16th's on both sides on the bottom toward the center.

If the doors will both shut without the seals, then maybe just trim the seals with a razor. That’s what I did. If you decide to relocate the hinges, you need to use a plumb bob to align them. One can of worms can open another…..
