Measured at 1053mm, so yes, I lost 7mm or 3/8". I can make up a bit of that by adjusting the hinge holes, and can possibly turn the metal bars around that the hinges are screwed into in the body at the bottom. I had to re-tap new metal bars for the hinge screws and I notice that I may can flip the one on the right and gain an 1/8th or 1/4". And I guess since I drilled the holes in the quarter panel, I could enlarge those a bit to scoot the bottom hinges on both sides a bit away from center. I don't need much room to get the right door to close. Maybe 1/4". It will close now when I close them both at the same time, but that is not how it should need to be done.if you lost width on the sill, will your doors still fit the opening? Wallowing out the hinge holes may not be enough. I just measured my door opening at the bottom near the sill. Specifically the inner edge of the tub... it reads 41 3/4" (106 cm)
Good luck...I'm sure you'll get it to work![]()
I don't think they are bent. I think it is just my placement of the hinge holes when I replaced the rear quarters. I was off a few 16th's on both sides on the bottom toward the center. The hinge(s) is/are bent on the passenger door. Take them off and straighten them. Then put on the door and adjust. Floor jack lifting the door isn't a good solution, you bend things
