I tried using the rear 120v outlet to run a vacuum cleaner and needles to say it didnt work. Whats the largest thing you've run off the rear outlet?

I believe it is only a 10A circuit so it will work for small stuff, up to a small laptop. I ran a DC socket back there direct with a 20A fuse for big stuff (and the fridge) with the screw in ARB socket. Money!

Yeah sounds like the vacuum is no go. Guess ill be going by a pay and spray to clean out all this dog hair.

Does anyone use the plug to power some campsite lighting? I was thing of maybe getting these lights to give a little bit of light around a camp site. They only draw 1 amp so they would stay on for a bite without draining the battery.

I'm sure this has already been talked about but is there a way to override the switch to always on? Also guys on the tacomas run a plug to the console between the front 2 seats.
