just bought another one of these on WOOT, this one for my wife. Really like mine so far. I know its not the latest and greatest but it does some pretty cool stuff.

Slickdeals.net have tons of deals posted everyday. I try to check it every morning to see whats out there.
 
got my thrive today. Had trouble connecting to my wifi at home so gonna try again tonight.

so when i try to link up to my router everytime i put in my password it says trying to connect and goes back to the password screen. Is this normal?

Power down your router, re-set and re-boot. Do this with all network devices off-line. Maybe your router is old?
 
Sounds like an incompatible WAP format (a or b on a tablet that is g or n).

Just guessing.
 
How many devices do you have in your house pulling signal? Could be that the IP addresses are fighting for attention. Go in and specifically set up a different IP for each device and tell the router who's who. That's what I had to do with two laptops, ipad, ipod, apple tv, friends ipads and phones, etc.

I had to do the same thing. I bet this is your issue
 
i am gonna replace the router 1st. I reset it and now the laptop will not recognize it. The tablet worked fine at mcdonalds so i am sure it is something on my end.
 
:bangfigured out why i can't get on the internet at home. The tablet uses type n and my router uses type g.:bang: Look out walmart here i come.
 
u realize u are talking to someone who recked a perfectly good transmission with nothing but a bolt and an impact wrench right??
