1986 4runner

Picked up a sweet 86 4runner a few weeks ago.
I like to remain a purist as far as parts go, so I ordered a ton from Cdan. It is an automatic, so slow. I will eventually put some kind of lift on it in the future. 4LLC is helping with some mechanicals on it.
Trucks frame is spotless, all hardware in and out are still cad colored.

Front seats are bad, so I am trying to source those. More to come, I have a few pics.

soft top

How do you like your soft top, and where did you get it?
Thanks

Yes it's a softopper tan with tinted windows and I love it. I haven't put the hard top back on since I got it 4 years ago however if you live where it gets below freezing you want to store it away for the winter as I hear the vinyl windows can freeze and crack. The truck runs a lot better when that near 200 lb top is removed.

Just picked up this '84. It's completely stock (22R and 5sp) in great running condition and little rust. The main reason I was posting was to show off my recent install of my custom Jollywood shifter knob. I looks really amazing and the dark brown dash really brings out the natural tones in the walnut. Send Jollywood a PM if you need one. My cheap camera does not do this knob justice.

I do live where it freezes. Was/is it easy installation?
That is a very nice looking top BTW.
Thanks

It's a long list of mods I've done to mine & stuff is going to be added so here's some pics before & close to what it looks like currently....

More closer to current...

That a Trail Gear rear bumper? It's pretty much what I want, but it looks like it leaves big gaps around the body?

This is my baby. 1990 Toyota 2wd. Sittin on 28's everything's stock but the motor was completely rebuilt. 22re. Beautiful truck. It thinks it's a 4x4, though.

I just picked this up from a buddy of mine. 87 4x4 with factory air and sun roof. Also has an aux tank and sleeper bed with custom compartments. After driving my 40 for so long, I really love this truck.
