Inviting expressions of interest for reproduction of Upper and Lower Thermostat Housings early?
I have enquired to a couple of local Businesses to get Molds made and these Housings Cast and Machined.
Initial process likely to be expensive so wanting to determine what likely demand there is and feedback on what 'Mudders' think would be a fair unit Price?

Stateside demand is lower than supply, at least from my experience. I have over a dozen sets to sell. Just picked up another last week.

I believe so Kurt. I have worked on precious few true ‘67s, but I actually owned one back in the ‘80s. F145 engine, padded dash...and a ball joint front axle.

Mine is a 67. According to the list on the LWB listings it’s a real 67 not badged later.

First Sample received.
A few issues to sort out, namely Hole Centres.
Very happy with the outcome.
Any advice from the all knowing eyes!?

What kind of material are you using for the casting ?

Not sure on the Metallurgy of the Aluminium. Will ask the specifics.

One thing I’ll say. The OEM ones like you reproduced from have a smooth bypass outlet.

The next generation and on has a lip to keep the hose on better.

Just a thought

I think that will be problematic with the Mould to change .
