Thanks for the suggestion. Found a parts store willing to make up some pressure hoses with compression fittings to mate up with the Toyota fittings (re-used the ends of the hard lines.) $60 and no more leaks. Thanks again.

You need the "emergency entrance" window? The "dealer only" one?

Last year, my dealer (who has like a 20% markup for "old trucks" it seems) still charged me only $30 or so. Had it in two days. Ran around with some duct tape and an old shower curtain with fish on it as a window for a while--the kids loved it.

Anybody have complete Ac kit for FJ40?

sourcing an OEM a/c is a nightmare. Many, many parts are very hard to find with #1 being the heater duct as it is different for a/c models. If you look at CCoT's set up, they use dryer hose for this! The vintage air works well but will not add much to resale value. CCoT's looks a lot like OEM in the cap and all the parts are new and should function for years- it's a toss up. OEM systems, well you have to find a truck to part out to get it.

Yes i do have an extremely nice air cleaner setup for sale on ebay. toook it all apart. sanded it, primed it, and painte with $$ engine block paint. starting bid 65 no reserve

Anybody have complete Ac kit for FJ40?

Do the factory FJ40 A/C systems really put out that much cold air? As in could it keep a hard/soft topped 40 comfortable in 85-90 degree Atlanta weather? are the only vents those under the dash?

I'm looking for an EZ-Locker for the front axle on Buddy, my '72 FJ40.

I have one in the rear axle and love it.

I got the rear one used so I'm looking for a used one for the front.
