Any 3B's for sale?
I just bought a '79FJ40...it will probably get a new aluminum tub first, but I'd like to convert to a diesel at the same time while the body's off. Mechanically it's top-notch.
Anyone have a rusted out BJ for sale, or a source for a complete motor and associated components? I'm located in Washington, but would travel a ways for something decent.

Need mirror Arms for FJ40
Looking for a set of mirror arms that bolt to the doors condition not a big concern as long they are not bent or extremely rusted. Mirror heads not important, this is for a later model FJ40. I do not want to a dream price just a fair one. I have some arms for sale/trade that have been extended by the PO so could see arond a trailer. I also have a set of the CCOT windsheild mount ones that are new.

I need a the RH and LH bumper extensions off the front of a 40 frame. I also am looking for an oil filter bracket set up to run the oil cooler.
Any help is appreciated

the bracket that mounts to the enigine block with the oil filter on top, I forgot to mention it is for a 2F 1/76 and up

PM grease_cruiser on this board, he one if not two 3B's, one with a H55F, 12 volt, out of a BJ60 that he is thinking of selling. He is in Colorado but the engines might be at proffitt's cruisers, I dunno...

a 13bt is a bit much, but i just sent a msg to greaser guy. that combo is more to my liking.
wes and andre, how i could get to colorado from dc i'm not sure. driving...yea, that's a little far. how difficult is a 2F to 3B conversion in a 40, and how long would it take? Maybe we could talk offline about doing the swap if I drove it out and spent a week, like a little vacation. perhaps you all kind find a buyer for the drivetrain currently in...just ticked over 100k last week.
it's one of stumbaugh's trucks. mechanically it's great, but there's a lot of rust in the rear quarters, floorboards etc. who makes aluminum tubs and is there any advantage of those over a fiberglass one?

I have all the brackets for the front bumper off of my 69 fj40, you can have the bumper too if you want, not straight tho. PM me if your interested, I can email you pics if you like.
