i have one out of a cummins turbo diesel truck but it needs to be rebuilt and the input/cluster gears are bad. all the parts are available and i do have the overhaul kit with it.

Funny...I just pulled the license plate lights...the one on the right (passenger side) has a capital "L" on the rubber...pulled the left (driver side), it has a big "R" molded into the rubber. They look kinda the same. Like right will fit on left and vice-versa.
Which one you want?

I figured it out. The license light housings are interchangeable but the rubber is not.
The "R" needs to go on the right side for the drain hole to be at the bottom...

10-4 that makes sense... We actually could use both sides, one is completely gone (R side) and the other side has broken glass and the mounts are fairly rusted. I could salvage and find the glass, but if you have both I could really use them. Thanks and let me know!
