Just ordered some freshies from my local stealership. $81.63 each. No shipping...

The trim coating on my 97 is cracked and peeling but otherwise fine. If removed can it be put back on? Was thinking about taking it off, recoating with paint or maybe plastic dip and then reinstalling.
That was my thought, maybe some of the lighter flexseal which is black. Right applicator and you may not even have to remove the trim.

Like many in this thread I've removed the Roof Drip Moulding (75552-60020). I'm considering getting a roof rack utilizing the side rails for support. Is the Roof Drip Moulding necessary for many of these racks?

I removed mine by driving down the road...stopping several time to figure out - What the heck is that flapping noise? 4 feet or so hanging out the side loose - Pulled the rest of it off, folded it up, tossed it in the back.
It's going to get painted flat black, front to back.

This is what I ended up doing. After removing mine I realized it looked good without it and if I just masked it and painted the area black (it was already mostly black just a few spots where the main body color came through) it would look just like it did with the trim on and not have to worry about beating it up anymore.

The trim on my fj80 is fine but it is coming off and it rattles ( very annoying)

is there adhesive that holds it on? Or does it just clip in place
thanks in advance

My DS molding started coming off after two months, the portion of the gutter closest to the mirror appears to have separated from the body (go easy with that rubber mallet).
Any thoughts on the best way to reattach the gutter?
