Not sure how socal went. But I did a run of them. Went pretty well, and 1 left before I run out of high steers and maybe order more depending on demand.

BigBoy
do you have any dimensions and or drawings of those radius arm mounting plates you made?

Excellent work, Tim & BigBoy !! In my mind I'm getting ready to do this, for the clearance gain, and find my 3.5" OME lift isn't enough. Is that what I'm hearing ? Thanks again for posting this, an excellent mod !!

I have a template made for plates. And depending on lift height, just trim them a little to fit. I did make all my own gussets on the first housing, now I just buy a diff brace kit and modify. The diff guards I still build. And caster is dialed in on my jig depending on what lift the customer tells me he wants (+3.5). And it's a min of 4" lift to flip the arms.

bigboy, thanks for doing and posting all this up. I had said a long time ago this would be a great idea (not bragging) and i got a lot of info saying you need a minimum of 6inches of lift for clearance issues with the arms. Do you mind stuffing the front wheels and showing us how close clearances are with the arms and its surroundings?

Curious to see what you think would be the absolute minimum lift to be able to flip the arms.

It was stated earlier that 4" is minimum.

I don't have any of those pics. But due to the loads of articulation and angle of the diff housing during articulation. It clears the chassi entirely. You just have to remove those plates that sit on the inside of each chassi. Spin your upper panhard bolt around so threads pointing out. And a few other little bits. Depending on spring rate/weight and bumpstops wether it will touch when jumping and 4". I've never got mine to touch with 5" including jumping.

So Tim. You've had this setup for a while now. Any long term issues?

I keep going back and forth on doing this, or the 3-link to eliminate my drop brackets. I love how the drop brackets work, but they are going to get smacked at some point.

No issues at all. Drives/handles great on the road, and handles anything that I want to throw at it offroad.

Have you raised your panhards and run a high steer yet?

Nope, if there was a good high steer solution available, I would in a heartbeat! But for the price of the hellfire knuckles, I'll swap to 1tons before I go that route.

Nothing wrong with hellfire. I've abused the hell out of them.

Either way you go. It will drive 10 times better once you've finished it.

he didn't say anything was wrong with them just that they were super expensive.
