radiator support?

early 1970, is the rad support and inner fenders 1 piece?

I can't seem to figure how or if they come apart, and my fsm shows them as seperate pieces but not how they go together.

I know this isn't classifieds, but is there a need for this? is it a body part that would need to be replaced?

Are you talking about the top crossmember between the fenders, that also has the hood catch on it?

If you are talking about the lower radiator support, I believe it and the inner fenders are one piece- at least they are spot welded together on my 77. Also, my right inner fender is a bit thin and has a small hole in it. I would someday-not now unfortunately-like to be able to find a set and swap mine out. HTH

Yes, it is the lower rad support, after getting it all apart it is spot welded as lambcrusher said.

I thought for some reason it might be bolted like the 60 series.

starting to cannibilize this unit. trying to figure out if it's worth keeping to sell the support. Unless someone was in a crash I didn't know if it had resale value????

Yes, but it's how long I need to hold onto it before someone wants it????

Maybe I'll bring it to the rising sun rally and see if anyone wants/needs it.

That would be a sweet piece to get blasted and paint - would make a Piggy engine compartment look so good!
