I have driven my cruiser hard enough to crack the body at the body mount but that wasn't enough to eat a radiator. If your hitting cattle guards hard enough to eat radiators with good engine mounts than I am very impressed.

What ever it is, I don't want ti loose a rad. Just seen it happen enough times in different ways that I wanted protection while I had the rad out.
Brief update.
Did a 500+ mile drive since installing the new fan (16361-66020), shroud (16711-66031), water pump, radiator (16400-66040), with all new hardware.
No issues.
On Saturday and Sunday, got her into the woods on some rocks and nice steep hill climbs in the Catskills. I was very tentative at first, and after a while started to bang on her as I normally would.
No issues.
