Quick question on Warn M8000

I'm still debating on which winch to mount behind the bumper on my 80 and it looks like it might be a Warn M8K :cool:


Just curious, but would it be possible to rotate the housing for the clutch end so that the level faces downward :confused:


Since it's going behind the front bumper, I'll need a way to access it easier....

Here's the answer I just got back from Warn:


Rick,



The clutch lever can be rotated as long as it’s rotated in increments of two bolts.

For example you could not move the clutch housing 3 bolt holes, it would need

to be moved 4. This is due to the clocking inside the gear end.
