Spent a few days cruising around and camping in Death Valley. Overall a great trip. Covered 200+ miles off pavement and saw both 80F and 27F within a 24 hour period.
Came in from the south on Harry Wade Road, then before making camp, took a quick trip up to Inyo Mine and caught Eye of the Needle on the way back.
On day 2, sped past Ballarat and into Goler Canyon.
Megel Pass was a bit tricky, but with a qualified spotter, no issue for the 100.
Headed back past Striped Butte and through Warm Springs, ~100 mile off pavement day.
Tried to leave DV by way of Emigrant Canyon and Wildrose, but the snow near Emigrant Pass and icy roads gave me reason to think about plan B.
Headed out on instead to the south by way of West Side road.
Stopped for lunch at Saratoga Spring off Harry Wade. Awesome place. Great way to finish the trip.
