quick carb questions--ready to test!!!!

Ok,

so i have replaced the carb with a rebuilt one. Same model.... almost. it is a rochester monojet replaced with a rebuilt monojet.

anyway, i think i have everything hooked up and ready... my question is....


If i don't have everything EXACTLY right.... will i do any damage if i try and start it?


As soon as I get a quick answer- i am off to try.....

You mean everything about the carb? Then, no, you won't hurt anything. If you messed with other stuff (took the dizzy out, and so forth) then, sure, you could break something.

yes... i mean everything about the carb... sorry for the ambiguity.

however.... i don't think i even know what a "dizzy" is

Just don't drop a screw down into the intake manifold. That can ruin your day.
