It is possible, but I did not like the way it behaved on the freeway at speeds. The truck tended to sway pretty bad. Specially with under side winds.

That probably also depends on the weight, I like the ride of the J's on my stock weight truck. If anything would prefer slightly less spring rate for better flex.
Frankie's Offroad 3" kit netting 3.5" on my rig (stock weight ) running 35's. 23.75" center of hub to center of wheel well (no flares on my rig) on all four corners.
We have been using a competition shock for our 4" lift, with specific valving in the rear, which also adds alot of droop, as it will work with 6" lift also, and stops the "sway" compared to most other 'generic" produced shocks.
We have also now developed a 4" lift Bilstein shock for 80 series with our specific valving and bushes which are the bee's knees for bolt on applications, but now we have our patrol [similar front to 80] FOX install kits out there, 80 series FOX install kit is next.
Christo has some of our shocks to try at the moment, for bigger lifts, and hopefully will have them available for you guys shortly.

I'd like to go with Slee's 4" soon, but I have no desire to go to 35" tires. Will it look like I'm running spares all around with 33"s? The expense for 35"s and regearing is not even an option.
I did not like the j's with a camping load, especially on steep uphills. The rear had this disconcerning squat. The Slee 4 inch lift has been great and definitely has exceeded expectations.
