Does that time work for people? Also do we want to stop in co on the way? Head out to woodies place? Or spend the whole time in Moab? We need to start hunting a house for Moab.
 
If this doesn't work just say so. It is just the best for me,using the fewest days off work. The first week is our shut down so it's like a free week for me. Leaving more time for other trips, PYS, Harlen, what ever. If we change it, it should be OK I would just use 2 full weeks of pto.
 
As usual I will go along with the groups decision. But my thoughts are Moab is the main draw for most, start there and branch out or stay longer as we see who is able to stay for the extra time. Just my 2 cents.
 
Once the plans are set Vicky and I will plan for which week we would join you. I would like to do some CO. wheelin but not necessary. Going to Woody's would be cool as well but also not necessary with the time we have.

s***ty timing for me next year, but I can make it work. Probably could only extend the trip by going earlier, not into August.

Last week of the fiscal half, and It looks like I fly out to Atlanta the first week of August for 5 days for work. Will make it tougher to take more than 10 days off when its the end of the half and I leave for Atlanta immediately when I get back. Atlanta dates aren't finalized, but the 1st through the 10th is blocked off on my calendar.

Like I said, I'll make it work, and it will help when I find out in December what the exact dates for Atlanta are too.

I read 17th-28th as plant shutdown. Are those the dates you are being in moab for? Arriving on a Monday and staying 12 days?

If the plan is to be there 2 weeks then I'll be there for the first week. And probably make half of PYS.
 
Yes that is the two weeks. My paperwork has to be in Monday morning. If this works

Ok, lets assume those dates.

Mark, will you be leaving your house on the 17th (Monday) and need to be home on the 28th (Friday)? Or are those just the days off and you will leave on the 15th? I am trying to get an idea of who's available and when.
 
As it stands now I hope to leave that friday after work or Saturday (15th) morning and head west.Then head home on the Thursday or Friday of the 28th.

So are we thinking a little stop in CO on the way down? Or straight to Moab?
