Nope. Fit right on. Can't run the center caps, but that's no biggie

Have you had a bad run with Coopers? These are my first Cooper MT. I've had their discoverer AT's on my old Tacoma a few times and they were great. I've always been a Goodyear MT-R Kevlar fan when it came to the muds. But these were a pretty great deal for 5 barely used 37's so I'm giving it a go. No offroad time to report about yet...
Adding my anecdote, coopers failed on the approach to the Morrison jeep trail and they are maybe 80% tread. No other issues I’ve seen but changing a tire on a single track in sand and rock is annoying.
These wheels came with my LC. They are 16” Keeler wheels. Don’t know much other than that. I added the 285/76R16 mud tires.

British excursion into France, My wife and I try each year to join a 4x4 tour in the Cantal region of France, ( The Massive Central Plateau in the middle of the country) The intention of the organisers is to drive our cars in the snow, ( high altitude) well, for the past few years there has been no snow, so very craftily he has other routes which he uses for such occasions. The trails are very good, exceptional scenery, some lovely challenges en route, river crossings etc etc, about 100 to 130 kilometres per day, and each day finishing back at the motel. The organisation is excellent, the trails are “ clover leaf” from the motel each day, 1st day a big loop to the east, 2nd west and so on.
The regulations are that each vehicle is well equipped, snow chains, mud or all terrain tyres ( must be good) shovel, high lift, recovery equip, gloves, torch, high Viz equip, etc etc.and the standard is maintained.
Who goes? Most occasions have been supported by French ( of course) Swiss ( no surprise as the swiss are anti off road) Dutch and Belgians ( Nederlanders) and us Brits, which for the last few years my old lady and me have been the only. So in February we were accompanied by our young friends in their Jeep Rubicon ( 2019) with more add ones than you can think of. I have to admit a great car.
My car, 1994 80 Bruiser diesel, ( 380k miles) performed outstanding, we have triple locks, lift etc and I’ve had the car since 2004, We had sunshine, some lovely lunch stops in remote mountain villages, and of course the mountain food of cheeses smoked and preserved Charcuterie ( ham, sausage etc) real “ Artisan bread” which is a rarity in Uk, bread like when we were kids. Wonderful rich beef stews and beefsteak to die for.
What priveledged people we are, to enjoy the adventure and pleasure of driving our “Bruisers”

Thanks. We like and use it a lot. It's comfy, fast to set up and take down, light, strong, and doesn't affect mileage. Zero wind noise. It can hold like 600 lbs on top, so I use it as a photography platform and to haul kayaks in Mexico (that's how it's set up in this photo, less the boat).
My god that's clean. I need to wash my rig more often, it's been months.
Off topic, but broken sector shaft flop makes me sad 
Method 706 17's with bead lock (on sale!) wrapped in 285/70 Falken Wildpeaks. For this 94 LC, rims did NOT fit without spacers, as rims are -35mm offset. 1.5 inch spidertrax fix that problem and essentially bring these back to 0 offset (at least thats what I tell myself). In any case wheels look to stick out no further than stock. Not pictured are method center caps which work once spacers are on, just fiddle with the method website till you find a vehicle that fits your rims with caps so you can order them.
Other fun thing we learned is that the spare does NOT fit in the undermount tire carrier (hits back of tow hitch), even though plenty on the forum report 285/70/17 fit fine on theirs. So a swingaway tire carrier may be in our future.
