We are going to have the tranny out when we do this because I am going to replace the clutch while I'm at it. It slipped a few times at K2 so might as well get it all done at one time. I assume we will assemble everything on the bench and install everything at the same time.

Subscribed. Hot Dam!

That is a great idea on the clutch. That pilot bearing is fun, fun at times. I actually have a slide hammer that is modified to pull those bearings. I used to have to do this kid of stuff myself before I met Pat :)

When I did Tranny/transfer all at once with my FJ-55, I used a good tranny jack for tranny and transfer and lowered the back of the motor at the rear with a cherry picker from the top. Got it at a good angle and stabbed it all.

I would pick up some new motor mounts. That seems like a very common thing that goes with age since they are rubber. At least get a new passenger side one.

Damn with Hot sauce!

Lets get this party started!

What tcase do you have now?

Georg will be through with my case next week. All parts are taken care of at this time. Gotta order a clutch.

Jeff, one thing that will need to be done that will interfere with a full-on pit crew swap out is the pressure plate needing to be turned. (Like brake rotors)

May consider taking it all down on a Friday and lining up someone that will schedule you to turn it on a Saturday morning or friday pm.

It is a heavy bitch, I have always taken them to truck places to have it done versus a car place.

Thought about that. Anybody got any recomendations on where to have it resurfaced?
