Man, you guys finished this project too quickly. I was hoping you would still be working on it this weekend when I had some time off. Did you already rebuild the parking brake? If not let me know when you do because I would like to help do one before I dive into mine.

Drove it round the parking lot and it's acting like it's supposed to I guess. Hard to shift (which Georg says is good). I will have to learn how to wheel it all over again. It will be diffetent. Can't wait to try it out on a few things before we go to Moab.

really easy! put that fawker in gear, let your foot off the clutch and then don't touch the clutch pedal til you need to stop. it's that simple. takes a little getting used to but it's the only way to wheel with a standard trans.

Anyone know if warranty is still good since it took so long to install?

I figure if I have any problems on it's maiden voyage I'll have the builder right there to give it a look see. BTW, The spedo mysteriously started to work. Hasn't worked since DD rebuilt the case years ago. What gives?
