I must have missed whe the $CDN went through the floor. For $50K, it doesn't matter what it has had done to it... I'd go to Icon if I had that coin to spend... Oh wait, I have a BJ44 that I could build up nicely and still have, oh, $35-40K left over.

Sorry, but rereading this thread, maybe I'm still a little miffed about your manuals crushers!

for me it is the trust issue, if he can't be trusted with a couple manuals ...
can he be trusted selling a $50,000 truck and revealing any issues that might still be hidden away to the potential buyer?

mistakes happen, we all make them. nobody is perfect.

Was sad to hear but it really didn't sound that bad off. Just things that time and money could have easily fixed.
