When doing this do I pull from the inside or the outside when removing this.

Threw the fire wall,,,,,,,,,,,
you might try the 40 tech section for this one.
Inside. If it is a 40, unplug from the engine compartment and pull back in. The under dash mess will never go thru the fire wall.
