I have a toolbox and often carry cargo in the rear of my LX, but I usually find myself trying to find a janky solution to prevent the cargo from tearing up the rear of the 2nd row seats since they are leather. Does anyone have any solutions for this? I see that a company called Canvasback makes a cover for the 200 series that looks perfect, but it seems they don't make anything for the 100s. Is there something similar to this that anyone sells? I don't necessarily need full front and back coverage since my rear seats don't get beat on very much in the cabin area, and the prices for full seat covers are in the $400+ it seems like which is a little overkill.

In an ideal world cargo would never move, but unfortunately in my experience sometimes things happen. Whether it be a sharp corner of something plastic leaving small gouges due to slight movement when going over bumpy terrain (often drive on REALLY bad washboards) or things that didn't seem like they would cause any damage causing small nicks or tears.

Throw in a piece of plywood between the seats and cargo, easy.
Honestly this has pretty much been my solution so far and it has worked pretty well, just been a little annoying when unloading stuff. If there really isn't any alternative then I guess that might be the best bet

There's some offerings on Alibaba in a multitude of colors that might suit you...

Certainly isn’t my cup of tea but it’s not too far off of what you said was ideal. If you meant something else, you should’ve posted it.
Lol the concept is fine, I just meant that terrible quilted pattern and red color. I can't say that I haven't seen some crazy accessories come out of China for LCs though

Did you read the part where I said it was available in a multitude of colors? These are sacrificial. It sounds like you do t want to spend much. Plywood it is.

Relax friend, I was just making a cheeky comment about the design of that particular example. I appreciate you spending the time to help out. I was hoping to find something more "minimalist" than that but I can at least use the Alibaba angle as a starting point.
