Good Lord, Jon - amazing work!

You're being too nice...please don't stop :hillbilly:

Nah that is all terrible work.... you need to come have more practice by painting my truck and doing the body work. ;)

That's more like it!!

I've developed a passionate hatred to all body work things. It takes a meticulous and patient person to execute a flawless paint job, which mine is not! No wonder having someone else do the work is so expensive. Just the shop supplies alone (tape, masking, cups, cleaner, blah blah) is a few hundred bucs.

You might not win the Riddler, but damn son... bravo!!!!

Wow Jon.....looks amazing man! After spending several hours sanding primer these last few days on the 4Runner, I can really appreciate all the hard work you've put in. Difference is, mine is still gonna look like chewed bubblegum, while yours looks like you actually know what you're doing!

Looks great Jon!! If it makes ya feel better, the first car I did full body work (no plastic filler) and wet sand was a 57 Chevy Belair. The trunk deck alone was like 3.4 acres!!

Keep up the good work, this has emerged as my favorite current build thread. Looking forward to more!

Holy s*** Jon!! The wet sanded primer felt like glass before, but hot damn that looks like a professional paint job!! Look at the reflection in the rear quarters!!!!

Aside from the soft top bows, that wraps up the painting now?

Thanks...and @mtweller @Fort Knox and @NCFJ Having others excited about the end product is just as exciting as me seeing it!

Yep, bows, oem soft doors, gas tank, tons of piddly little s*** (hinges, cowl vent and heater covers) plus some random touch-ups where I didn't get full coverage on corners, is all that's left. Hopefully I can knock them on this weekend and then dismantle the booth (get my garage back).

Picked up tint for the interior Raptor liner yesterday and the tintable kit gets delivered today. Hoping to shoot it this weekend.

Doesn't look as fabricobbled as you made it seem earlier

I'm excited for the assembly phase.

Beautiful!
