my aunt and uncle gave me my first set of hand tools when I was 5. Soon thereafter I could be seen walking home from the nearest alley (two blocks) with pallets that were literally bigger than me to harvest wood and nails for my first projects. Who knew then that I would become an automotive recycler!

Perfect…🙏

Tin is up. Just a little more blocking, then it’s time to roll roof.

Time for a little Vitamin I (Ibuprofen) as I just got done carrying the 70# rolls of roofing up and getting the basic form laid out. Still, I am happy that at 64 I can still do the heavy lifting. Tomorrow I will hit all the seams with cold application cement. And Tuesday mother nature will test my work.

I shared my 1st cup with your thread this AM. 👍🏆👈🏻

Well done.
Thanks. I am happy with the results. In the rainy season, the side door and frame would swell, and the door was not functional. Rotating the drawbars on the end doors at 5am to look for something that I needed to take to work was not a sound my suburban neighbors appreciated. We had a good storm come through a couple of weeks ago, and the side door remained completely operable.😊
