Love the color, May want to slap that on my 64 LV W/ T 031 as my white. Is that a toy color?

Dean, think of that white blob as a blank canvas....................

to start your masterpiece of Art work...i thought i would fix your truck...just to help out a bit...before you know who shows up (bezel police) ...although they dont normally come around here

Thanks Johnny...wouldn't want any trouble. You could have also removed those funky hood lights, and that :censor: front bumper...that thing is u g l y  :crybaby:

Speaking of bezel police, I just went through all the 40's on Ebay and over 1/2 had their bezels on upside down. Glad I'll never have that problem with the 25 :D

I was trying to peek into the garage when I dropped off those unobtanium parts last week. Watch the paint buildup on the intake screen. You'll need as much airflow as possible :D

What rear seat you got in there?

That's why I have a F120 sticker on my F135, derated you know..........Blasted that screen clean, only a couple coats on there. :D

Jeep seat, fold and tumble. Never realized them things are so small, should have shopped for a wider seat.

Early Mitsubishi Montero/Dodge Raider is a great fit and it's fold and tumble. Also I'm sure you know the early Ford Bronco works well too but it doesn't fold and tumble. I got a complete set of the Montero seats I picked up years ago. Still thinking of using them in my 73 soft top. The only thing I don't like is the front bucket seats aren't as wide as the Cruiser's seat:frown: But the driver's seat does have the cushy ride:D I think these seat are going to win out in the end because of my old and tired back:frown:

So Jim how long until this is on the road? By reading that military tire tread I take it this is going to have the FJ25 wheels too. It sure must be nice to have all those FJ25 wheels:rolleyes:

John

That I understand it, Jim went with 700-15, 30.1" OD tires, so I'm guess he's saving his 25 rims for now.

Really looking forward to hearing how you like those tires Jim. I kind of like the price, and the look, so if you give them a green light I think I'll get the same for the 40.

Great tip on the back seat John...what year Montero/Raider back seat should we look for?

I've got enough 25 rims, but they're all pretty rough, bent up. One was torched off around a stud. I'm going with 40 rims for now. I'm really just down to the electrical, then firing it up and debugging it. Another month to a year.

Tires will be here Friday, so I know what I'm going to do this weekend. No more wagon wheels. :bounce:

Looks a little different now without those white spokes. ;)

Then if original T caps can't be found, I would agree with John...those 70's style caps just look don't look right on such a nice 25, and I would go with moons instead...but that's only my 2 cents!

Still, that's a great looking Cruiser Jim.

Did you get to the wiring yet?

No, I actually don't even have a complete set of old caps. They all of a sudden went from obtainium to unobtainium...............never been able to be succesful in any market. :meh: I blame it on the 45 guys............... :p

Visited Tractor Supply. Val-Spar Hunter Green 4636, $22 a gallon plus hardener and stuff, just my speed.

Jim,
So the Val-Spar finally went thru the HVLP gun OK? Sure looks like it did, great job! Will you be bringing it out to Fall Gathering 2008? Love to see it IRL. :)

Aaron

Aaron, the HVLP gun is scrap as far as I'm concerned. It didn't help much that I was trying to paint in 40* weather. I ended up breaking out the old Sears-Roebuck siphon feed.................. :hillbilly: Really no excuse to not have it at the FG this year...

FG is an easy goal.......................so far I've missed it at least two years............

How about CMCC this year? I'm about to sent in my $$$ as I actually have a Cruiser to wheel this year! Might even try for the FG myself as I didn't make it last year.
