This is what I get for not logging on in a while :) Sub'd. I was considering biting the bullet on some JAOS flaps for the longest time. Can't wait for the feedback, and for when they go on sale. Great job on these!

I have had them on for about a week or so now. I have done alot of highway driving and it has been raining non-stop for the past 3 days. Install was very straightforward and I felt good about all of the quality of all the products. I was lucky in getting a pair as I thought I missed the window. I wasn't sure how I felt about how they where held on to the truck until I tried to take them off! It is a very specific movement you have to do to get them off so I don't think wind or an object could knock them off. I am curious to see how the front bracket lasts though. Overall super happy with the product and love the way it looks. As you can see in the pics I am stock.

Were instructions ever posted how to install the front flaps on an LX (because it has the plastic cladding)?

Yes, it's on @Ramathorn15 site. If you have sliders, you'll need to lower them as there are 2 bolts on the bottom of the frontmost cladding that need to be removed so that you can get under there and install the clips. His writeup includes pics and details. Very easy to follow.

whoops doop

I installed my rears last week and finally did my fronts last night. I've got an LX and Trail Tailor sliders and needing to pull the sliders to access those screws. (I had been meaning to pull them all last summer anyway to get the powder coated since I had just rattle canned them so it wasn't a big deal to me.) Both the front and rear flaps installed really easy. I have to say that I'm pretty darn impressed with these. Like another said they go on in a specific way and are very unlikely to come off during normal street use. There is a lip on the bracket that nests into a slot on the flap to keep it in the right place. I am particularly impressed with the press fit piece on the rear flaps that pull the bottom back towards the bumper and away from the tire. The brackets are bent and cut well and there isn't any rubbing with my 275/70/18 KO2s.

I really like how they stick out a little from the side. I think its enough but not too much. My co-worker with a taco admired them this morning and asked all about them. I pointed out the stuff that I was impressed with and he now demands a set for his rig. :)

Hopefully they will help to keep the crap off my sliders when I get them coated and back on and they will certainly keep the sides of the LX a little cleaner too. Thanks Rami!

Also, PinkPanty FTW! Gotta look close.

(This was before I got the fronts on.)

When will the next round of flaps be ready?

Will finally get around to installing my rear ones this week (fronts already on). My BIOR rear will need a small amount of trimming on the lower edge of the wing (so the flap will be square to the tire). Nothing my plasma cutter can't make short work of. I still need to pick up the 1 bolt on each rear inner side from the OEM bumper (threw mine away when I put the BIOR on).

Mind posting a pic of your install; before you plasma cut.

Mounted the Flaps this weekend. Everything went in smooth. Was not to bad except I have metaltech 4x4 sliders and I need to move them to access the lower bolts but after that it was a quick and easy install! Thanks again!

So sorry for missing all the chatter here. Mud is usually pretty good about notifying me when this thread gets bumped, but didnt seem to this time.

Anyhow, I have 5 more sets I plan to put up for sale tomorrow at 6pm MT. I'm going slow with these because the demand only seems to be half there. I dont want to invest a bunch of my $$ into my side project only to have a product nobody wants to buy.

Let me know if anyone has any questions till then. So far they only really fit stock or dissent without any changes. BIOR fits but you'll likely have to make a trip to the hardware store for some longer bolts/nylon spacers. Slee likely wont fit without drilling and attaching the rear brackets directly to the bumper.

I like your product. I can really see the use for these. I will keep an eye on these for the future.

Get them through your website, or DM you? I'd take a set

Argh! Thanks for making more and offering them up to the community. I just missed out on a set. Maybe there will be another batch soon?
