If you dont have the interior panels and such in yet, could you snap a couple from inside the panels to show how everything lines up? Both my quarters are kinda trashed now and i figure sawzall blades are pretty cheap so i might get a little crazy with the chopping. Did you do anything the keep the back end square while you were doing the chopping/welding?

Naw.. bob aint gonna bet paint till he is runnin..

Hopefully before the rubithon.. But.. Paint is the last thing on his list. :flipoff2:

It will be stock metallic blue on the top and below the door handles will be rhino lined..

I'll snap pics of te inside for you.
I did not do the Bob. Honestly, I doubt I would have the paitence to do it. Trailcarnage on this board did it. And a dam good job actually..

Working on the rear suspension..
Got Gravelmakers axle bridge installed and the wishbone mount mostly in. I am still trying to figure out how to integrate a mid support into the bridge. It is probably a serious non issue (the bridge is very strong and welded all over the place) but if a bit more strength can be had, why not..

Couple pics of the entire thing and how I was thinking of adding a support to it. The support would tie back into the axle and be plated on both sides...

Perhaps I'd add an anchor point to it..

And how the Gyro joints turned out.

The side plates will be final welded when I have made sure that I am happy with the way they hook up to the frame. They are gonna be below the frame and inboarded.. Still gotta work on that a bit..

BTW, the teardrop sides on the Gyro joints are made with 3/8" plate.

BTW, it looks like I found another 302 so I will be working on a 347 as well ;)

Kinda like a pirates build, lots of BS with buddies and not much nappening|????????????????????????????????????/f

Get er ***ing going pal......

Got the 1/4 spring pack finalized and the lower in. I still need a minute or two to build the wishbone upper.

but she is looking about right..

I also picked up some 1/2" plate for the frame side spring plate. Honestly I doubt 1/2 is even close to necessary but hell, it was less than $10 so...

Since there is so little room between the frame and the tub I am just going to tap some 1.25 x 1" square stock. Then weld the stock directly to the frame (proabbly gonna plate the frame in those areas first).. All in all it is coming together nicely..

This coming three day weekend is a dilemma for me. The Calico Cleanup is going on. But I really need to get to work on this 60.. Decisions, decisions, decisions...

Work on Bob i was glad that I am sitting down when I saw that the post was by you and then pics too!!!! :bounce:
