Has anyone put a power window in their 40? Asking for my dog. He's having trouble winding down his window and rolling it up when the rain hits.
It's a 77

You might search. Several months ago someone found a kit or something. I think it adapted to the stk regulator.

I thought I saw something a while back but couldn't find it. Thanks I'll expand my search

A power window comes with every North American FJ55. It might be easier to buy a 55.
That aside, have you ever looked inside an 80 series door? The lift mechanism looks suspiciously similar to earlier mechanisms, like my '74 55. It made me wonder how difficult it would be to swap that 80 stuff into an earlier door. The motor is pretty small, it's metric, It might work better than a generic kit, we know how Toyota loves to repeat themselves. Find a wrecked 80 in a junkyard, pull the motors and regulators and channels and harnesses and control panel and give it a try.

I’m not sure you even need an 80. I might be wrong, but I seem to recall the 80 window motor was generic Toyota. No clue about the mechanisms though, so that might indeed push you back to an 80.
