Someone used a fender washer to retain tensioner pulley. The OEM Washer, is, only available with tensioner assembly. The idler pulley is shot also. So I'd replace both.

Both PCV hoses will need replacing, along with vacuum line assembly coming from valve on vane pump

That sounds like fun. How long did it all take you?

The pump and hoses was just a few hours, and I'm no real mechanic. A real me he is probably could have done it in less than 2 hrs. The rack and TRE a few more, the rack was a bitch of a job..I paid someone to do that for me.

I have a new aftermarket low pressure line (attaches at rack) I'll send for cost of shipping if anyone needs.
Still have this line? I need to replace mine.

Hey guys looking for assistance so I just picked up my first 109 series Land Cruiser and I have a power steering leak…. recently, I had the rack and pinion done outer tie rods done. The CV boots are good. They’re not leaking. It’s not leaking from the reservoir the hoses I took a photo and I noticed that there’s a bolt that is bent on the left-hand side where the pump fasten to the motor…. Luckily it looks like the bolt head isn’t hitting the pulley. This clearly looks wrong. (see photo attached).

Does anybody happen to know that bolt number part? I’m new to using the FSM and partsouq.

I’m gonna do a power steering flush, but I figured what is the point if I need to repair that bolt if I’m gonna just continuously lose power steering fluid…. I picked up (4) Qts of Valvoline Dez/Mercon ATF for the flush. So I think I’m good there eventually I’d like to put some sort of synthetic ATF fluid in there, but this will work. I hope for now.

I’m super stoked to be wrenching on my first Land Cruiser can’t say it enough. I’m not anI’m not a master mechanic by any means, but there’s no time like the NOW!

Any pointers from any of you wizards out there is greatly appreciated. And I’m greatly indebted to you.
