Thx. I guess this is one of the best case scenarios you can get when your motor is knocking. I hope this remedies the knocking. More to follow.

Enough of all this. Update the 45 thread

The only things I have left to do now are the valve cover gasket and replace the very small brass screw that I sorta stripped out when trying to put everything back together. Is there a part number. Should Napa have one....?

I straightened its cover today.... Nothing to report.

However, my branch manager did call me and tell me that I’m 99% headed to Ft Rucker Alabama for my next and last military adventure. I’ll move this summer and only have around a year and a half to do there.

My wife and I want to retire in Baldwin County AL (across from Mobile County). Rucker puts us only 2 hours to there so we’ll start house/land hunting later this year. She’ll continue to teach and I’m still up in the air on what I want to do when I get out... Crazy, I know.
