brake lines and fuel lines are rusty. Could last 10 years. Could last 6 mos.

How is that a contradiction? I didnt say Scion, I said Toyota. I understand Toyota makes Scion, and hense is likely a good car. but the Xb is not good enough to overcome its own gayness. Kinda like the mr2 spider and celica and prius. There is exception to every rule.
