Possible 200 Series

Amanda's '08 200 has been a great truck. Mileage is currently around 45K. Average annual mileage will likely plummet since Jace is 16 and driving himself around. The 200 had one slight rattle that developed above the rear headliner. There was a TSB on it and it was fixed in less than one day under warranty. All we have done to this fine truck is change the oil, rotate the tires, Chris put on a new set of tires at around 38K, and we just put a new windshield in it (avoid Safelite!). It may need brakes soon. I like it because it is a tank. Amanda is safe when driving it, our family is safe when we travel together, and it pulls my 40 on a trailer to the Crawl each rear. The 5.7 is a monster, but if you drive it easy, the gas mileage is not horrible.

Your text didn't come through, but I think I am going to pass. My wife is really looking for a 3rd row that is accessible with 2 car seats. The 200 wouldn't be much benefit over the GX in that dept.

I hope he ends up getting a good price. I think the mileage is going to hurt him. When I traded in my 100 the dealership told me they can't get financing for cars with over 100k miles so people have to have a big trade or a bunch of cash. Not sure if that is true.

The 100k is true...they can get financing but it is a very narrow borrower and they can't make good money on yield do to mileage. Plus there floor plan lender may not let them put in on there line so it is real money tied up in those trucks

Yes it is. We drove it all weekend. Truck, aside from needing new rear shocks, is in perfect shape. Cleanest interior I've ever seen on a 5yo truck.

And the big engine is awesome.
