I saw this awesome pop top 75-series Troopy today. Just had to snap a couple of photos. That is a dream rig for me; someday I will have to get one.

Saw another one today, a 78-series with an Alu-Cab Hercules top and South Australia license plates.

Hello,

Nice sighting. It is a 78 Series.

Premise #1 ..... I'm no Troopy specialist.
What's makes that a 78 Series vs a 75 Series?

I’m not 100% certain, but it pulled off and as I went past it appeared to have coils in the front.

coil front vs non-coil front
I can't even begin to see that detail in those photos. Perhaps I need to upgrade my readers. :)

Another sighting and this one looks very familiar to me. Oh wait....

Interesting to see all the "stuff" on the roof top. That's in my fairly immediate future and it would be interesting to know how hard the top is to raise with the added weight. I'm thinking more robust struts?

Hello,

The wheels have five nuts. 75 Series wheels have six.

And there is the coil sprung front already mentioned above.
