But there are smog restrictions... I would recommend any other county in NV other than Washoe or Clark (Reno or Vegas).
LAS takes a little getting used too but has a lot of serious advantages, mostly financial. Very small business friendly, lots of cheap space, low taxes and housing costs, depending of course which part you live in. The smog thing is easily over come with older vehicles as you can register on a classic vehicle plate. Theres always a decent show or activity to go out and see or participate in and the climate is easy to live with. Most people I meet here came for work and end up staying for many of the reasons above. If your wife would agree to try it for a couple of years she might end up seeing the advantages over the disadvantages. Plus for your business close proximity to SoCAL without the taxes would be a major advantage I would think.
A customer came by two days ago to look at a build we're doing for him....He said he and his wife had words about what he was spending here...
He said it was a shame he wasn't allowed to use any of his.......

D, As you know I could have retired a few years ago, but figured I'd go stir crazy... So, I haven;t stopped piddling around and we haven't had to dip into either of our retirements yet. Last conversation we had was buying a couple places and bouncing around during the year.
We have a good nest egg and with the recent misfortune with Andrea's mother passing, we have an even larger egg now. We are about equal in the $$ department and neither of us complain about what the other spends. I spend more than her BY MILES...

I learned some hard lessons with my 1974 R90. IE: it's the worst year to buy! Silly 5 position switch and terrible transmission. All fixed now ($$).

Another big announcement for Trail-Tailor today. We have become a ComeUp Winch dealer.
ComeUp has been manufactured and sold throughout the world for 40 years. They own their own motor manufacturing plant and winch manufacturing plants in Taipei Taiwan. Their product is superior to any others out there in a couple ways. They have a patented cone brake in all of the automotive winches which is located outside the drum. Because of this, the winches don’t have problems with the drum heating up under braking conditions damaging the synthetic rope. The winches also have a faster line speed and a lower amp draw than any other comparable winch on the market today. The SEAL series winches come with a 3 year electrical warranty and a limited lifetime on all mechanical components and the DV Winch line comes with a 1 year parts and limited lifetime on mechanical components.

The DV-9 or the Seal Gen 2- 9.5 is where I'd be on those. To reduce weight for a little extra money add a synthetic line.

That's one great looking two-tone rig. Did you paint that yourself?Not lift. I have an add a leaf in the rear so it probably sits at stock height. Keep in mind when you go below 31's it is mandatory to keep the white letters out.
