My 99 has been averaging 15 mpg since I got it.

I'm running 35's steel bumpers and sliders with full size spare and winch for 9MPG city and 12-14 Hwy. Am I the only one, I love pumping gas for my rig... It's like I'm feeding my baby! Lol!

Same here, but average has dropped over the years starting at 16 MPG (climate control off).

Over last 13 years, I've driven 106,284 miles, using 7,032.74 gallons of gas, yielding average of 15.11MPG at a cost of $20,755.98

Hi all. I have a MPG related observation. ive been getting 14-15mpg for the year ive owned my 2003 LC. I recently put a solar panel on top and upgraded to falken all terrain tires at 32.8 inches tire pressure 35psi. On our first real trip since these changes we took a backroad trip to Vermont on the weekend. Before leaving i filled up with Shell 87 octane fuel and when i returned home had avg consumption over 127 miles of 18.4 mpg. So my question is...WTF?

That's your truck telling you to get out of the city and into interesting terrain more often.

Mine has actually started to do a bit better now that I am handling different things here and there... Last fill-up on Friday has shifted avg. to 10.7 mpg without tire size calculation for increased size (running 285/75r16s) with 75% city driving (3 miles to work daily, 4 trips a day, 5 days a week). So I figured it is probably closer to 11.7 mpg. Sure that the first time I get her on a long trip on the highway she will stretch her legs and run.
