It's other end is inside the hose.. .

If this thread isn't in the FAQ it should be. It was a big help with my head gasket job just being able to see where everything goes on the intake side. The fsm is great but there's nothing like some good labeled pictures

Your FSM would know for sure, but I want to say that most of the 12mm head bolts that thread into the aluminum manifold are 15 lb/ft.

i did them by hand because getting a torque wrench under there is a challenge but i did do 15 ft lbs on a bolt up top so i could tell what it felt like.. its not much torque so do it by feel just a hair past tight to squeeze the gasket but not too tight, you don't want to break anything under there.

That's a good idea about doing the uptops with the T wrench and getting a feel for it. I will do the same thanks for the advice! Did you have a certain sequence pattern you went by? Thanks again Danny

i just skipped around so they all snugged the gasket relatively uniformly.
Thanks Danny got her snugged away any ideas on this hose on throttle body it's some sort of plunger. Only one I can't remember if it is installed correctly can anyone chime in? Thanks again wrapping her up before it storms here

Next to the valve cover in the front there are 2 hard lines one smaller vacuum line then that larger one to the throttle body. They're the ones that you bolted to the front of the motor under the front of the valve cover

just saw a post, search this......

EGR Delete Plates 1FZ-FE for sale.

This is an excellent post, i am in the middle of this now. Thankyou for this!
Why not just weld up the egr valve? That is what i was planning on, once i get the dang thing off the pipe it has married itself too.

if anyone has pic requests while i have the mani off, let me know...
