Viperguy,

Great looking rig.

I'm with the Springfield group coming down with REKCUT "Thad"

Can't wait to see it wheel.

The truck comes with a snorkel that goes up over the rollbar but I had them relocate it up under the dash. I'm never in that much water and don't plan on doing the swamp buggy deal.

66fj40x2 - I used it to pull a 18ft trailer in a parade in Nixa and the truck got quite a bit of attention.

Thanks for all of the comments & help. The scheduling wheels are in motion. Is this a Toyota event only?? (I have a friend with a Jeep)

It is an open event so bring your friend.

Viperguy,

You will want a spare, 4 way and jack, preferable a highlift. Out of the springfield group alone we have had 3 flats in 2 trips.

Great info on the spare! I will start the ordering process for my extras!

To Mike C, thanks for offering to do the pulled pork. Ed has private mailed me about the food, but didn't tell me that part. He is going to help which is wonderful. Mike and I have the menu planned and will just have to wait for count. I have been out of the country so am really late in seeing all this stuff. Has anyone thought about how we want to do the food for our group, outside the big dinner for all? Since we usually end up pooling our food we might want to try to plan this at least a little. Also, how much are we charging for the big dinner, so I have some idea of how much I can spend? Mike, we will reimburse you for the pork, also you Ed for whatever we end up having you cook.

Mike and I really want to see this event happen again this year. It really is a lot of fun. Is there anything else we can do to help?

Peggy

So, am I reading this correctly, game on? I know there will be at least 3 or 4 of us from Tall Corn Cruisers heading down! If you need help with anything, please PM, I'm more than willing to help out, I may not be down there until Friday again, but I'll do what I can to leave Thursday AM. I came down Friday last year and this is a killer place to wheel and a great event! If you have the opportunity, ferry your rig across the river, I've heard it's pretty neat.

I'll be sending in my registration in a few weeks!

Art.

I am glad to see your coming again. Can wait to here some of your stories. We'll save a spot for your around the big tent.

Art, glad to hear you're coming down again. I was hoping to make it up to tall corn but unfortunately it landed on my daughter's b-day this year so I'll be spending saturday partying at Charles Edward Cheese's place.:crybaby: Although I do have a care package for you that I'm hoping to mud ship up with flatlandtrd if everything works out.

It looks like the on line sign up is close to being operational. I know myself and a few others have been holding out for that. It has also only been a couple of days. Get the on-line working and your numbers will grow
