Much better. The fast idle setting on the carb is much too high. The engine shouldn't rev higher than 1800 rpm when the choke knob is pulled all the way on a warm engine.

It's just an easy to reach adjustment screw on the carb.

Thanks. Guessing that is something I can basically just pull the choke out on and adjust the screw until it gets down to 1800? Thanks again!
 
I need to go out and do this too as mine is high after the valve adjustment I made last night. And I'm scratching my head thinking of your question... seems to me that would be how we would do it. ... @Output Shaft will you clarify?
