A little rusty. Got some miles. But she's got a nice original vibe. What do you think it'll hammer for?

went for 16k last time but buyer didn't follow through.
The other bidder was in it for 14k

Usually they don't do as good re-listed right away but looks like a solid truck

I’m betting around 15k. Looks like the last buyer backed out after winning it for 16k. Way too much for a 1985 that needs work done to it imo.

Both seats need redone, the trim is either scratched to hell or wasn’t cleaned, two different styles of lug nuts, front axle needs rebuilt, has ADD hubs, and the shocks look like crap too. The front leaves also look like they’re arching down in the back. I bet those interior door panels would clean up really nicely too with some elbow grease and the right product.

Edited to add: the rust under the window chrome would be concerning to me. I’d be worried it’s more than just surface rust. And the seller did say the interior wasn’t detailed.

Yeah, that tiny bit of rust peeking from under the windshield trim is likely the tip of the rustberg. My '84 had the same (less) rust spot at the windshield trim, and required some new metal. Not big deal when the plan includes paint.

I didn't see that '85 sell last year (or forgot). Given the rust, albeit mild, and miles, I'd love to see it sell for $15k or more.

@bhsdriller and @Mudder, you guys nailed - sold for $15,750
That’s pretty wild to me. I love these old Toyotas but for 15k I’d be looking at a more modern comfortable one. Good job to the seller though!
