pickup bed ideas wanted

My 1992 pickup got hit in the rear quarter behind the wheel about a month ago. I re-glued my tail light together and screwed and gorilla taped it back in, hay it works. You should have seen the other ladies new Murcurey SUV......It was Fd up......busted radiator, bumper, grill, headlight, blinker, fender, hood............god I love Toyotas. I wish I had my marlin rock bumper then.

So I am looking for a new 6' bed. I got a 7' bed and a 6' tacoma bed but it needs a little work and the gas filler is on the wrong side. (If anyone in Alaska has one for sale or wants to trade I am game).

I was kind of kicking around the idea of building a custom one. If I replace the original with a used one I am looking $400 plus paint (kind of thinkin of self rino-lining the whole damn truck if I go this rout, instead of paint.) The truck is already black.

So, if anyone has any cool pics, ideas, links, etc. on custom pickup beds lets see them. Help me make my mind up. Also if anyone has any estimates on what their custom bed cost to make that would also be appreciated.

This truck is near stock and my daily driver although one day I may build it up. Right now it has a brush guard on the front and a marlin rock bumper on the back. I need to fab up a front bumper but we will leave that for another thread.........

My '94 totaled three vehicles before needing a new rear bumper, and that was the stock bumper.

I like this bed...

I was looking at that LC bed/camper and it is sweet.

I also like the flat bed with tilt sides. Both great Ideas. I am probably thinking more along the lines of a pickup type bed like that flat bed with tilt sides or other home made bed similar to it. Great Ideas.
