Okay...so I dug around and didn't see any threads like this so I thought I'd give it a go.

What is your most unique/frustrating/hilarious Gremlin in your pig?

I think I found mine this evening when I was taking her out for a neighborhood drive. It was the first time doing so with new headlamps installed! All went well until halfway through the drive. I tapped the brakes going down the hill and the headlights went out! Soon as I let off the brakes, headlights came back on! Obviously some kind of ground/switch issue I'm thinking, but I had to laugh at the randomness of this issue which is tied to multiple others I'm tracking down thanks to the PO's awesome wiring hacks:/

So who has one better? This will hopefully be as entertaining for y'all as it has been for me:)

I blow the fuse on the blinkers all the time. It has been that way for about 6 years. Sometimes it's cool for months, sometimes only 5 minutes. Whenever the multimeter comes out, the gremlin goes away.

Even after replacing 1/2 of the harness it still happens (fire on the mountain, or pismo). Must be in the other half.

Looks like a Piglet not A PIG.

Pablo, the Gremlin is a Piglet not a Pig. Yes I do remember them.

Thanks Bob.

my reverse lights stay on....they didn't do it when i bought it, just started one day...so i pulled the bulbs

When I bought my 78 my reverse light bulbs were removed, I couldn't figure why someone would pull the bulbs. I put two new bulbs in and at that point I realized why they pulled the bulbs, the reverse lights were on all the time. After a little troubleshooting I found that the reverse light switch had gone bad. I purchased a $30 Delco switch from RockAuto and after about an hour the problem was solved. I know this isn't a how to fix thread, but I thought I would share in case my experience might help a fellow 55 owner.

My headlights work high and low beam as well as reverse and brake lights - as well as side marker - CANNOT get my blinkers going at all .. any advice..

Does you flasher switch work? I had this problem on my 40 and that ended up being the culprit since the blinkers are wired through the switch. Otherwise the turn signal collar switch -
